Israeli bulldozers level Palestinian workplaces in Jenin

Bulldozers belonging to the Israeli army demolished many Palestinian workplaces around Jenin, north of the West Bank, witnesses said Thursday.

In an early morning raid carried out by Israeli soldiers in the town of Bartaa, office premises including an auto mechanic and vegetable market hall were torn down.

Entry to Bartaa, which separates West Bank from Israel, is tightly controlled by the Civil Administration, an Israeli governing body operating in the West Bank.
