“We're relaxed because four years ago I had a dream of what's happening. If they [the police - the Attorney General] could, they would take [the arrests, the police investigations, the looming indictments] all back."
According to Ynet,
the 'kabbalist' who is currently being investigated after being caught
red handed bribing a senior police officer says he had this dream four
years ago and it included every that is happening to him now. And all of
it – the arrests of him and his wife, the looming indictments – are all
"trivial.""
Writing to followers, Pinto posted a message on the website of his
scandal-ridden Shuva Israel organization that included mention of his
'prophetic' dream.
“We're relaxed because four years ago I had a dream of what's
happening. If they [the police - the Attorney General] could, they would
take it all back."
Pinto also made a similar statement to a class of followers in Manhattan that was also beamed by satellite to Israel.
Pinto was allowed to travel to Manhattan by an Israel judge for
medical reasons. However Pinto officiated last week at the wedding of
former Israeli mobster Hai Vaknin in Los Angeles.
Pinto followers in Manhattan told Ynet that Pinto's statement was much needed.
"[Pinto's] silence [after the arrest] weakened us a bit. Wanted to be
strengthened and I'm glad we got [what we needed]," a Pinto supporter
said. "There are people…who were close to the rabbi and later chose to
distance [themselves from him over the] affair. Now they can't stop
talking about how they believe in his innocence," another supporter
reportedly said.
Pinto is known a kabbalist-to-the-stars. He has many followers in
Israel's business and political elite, and is popular among Israeli
expats in Manhattan, as well. He is also one of the top ten richest
rabbis in Israel with a net worth in the tens of millions of dollars.
