The theme of this year's Agudah convention is, "our responsibilities to one another in times of challenge." However, Agudah has sessions on the dangers of the Internet and on the dangers of blogs (scheduled for Friday night to make it hard to get a recording made and leaked and euphemistically titled, "Embracing emunah [faith] in a madhouse of kefirah [heresy]" on its program, and it has a program on metzitzah b'peh (MBP), the direct mouth-to-bleeding-penis sucking many haredi mohels do. MBP transmits disease, including HSV-1, which has killed at least two babies, sickened others, and left one child with serious brain damage. But Agudah's session only has presenters who endorse MBP as safe.

Agudath Israel of America has again proved that it is irresponsible, and that the lives of the victims, of the children, of the oppressed do not really matter to it.
