'Gay Saudi prince brutally killed aide'

A homosexual grandson of Saudi Arabia's King Abdullah brutally murdered an aide at a London hotel, having abused the victim for weeks, a court heard in London.

Saud Bin Abdulaziz Bin Nasir al Saud had claimed the life of Bandar Abdullah Abdulaziz at the Landmark Hotel on February 15, by subjecting him to fatal battery and strangulation, AFP reported.

The bloody crime scene was "consistent with the victim having been the subject of a series of separate assaults before he was killed", prosecutor Jonathan Laidlaw told London's Central Criminal Court before which the prince had appeared.

Saud confessed to the lesser charge of manslaughter but denied murder and a separate count of grievous bodily harm.

He also rejected his sexual orientation despite the prosecution's assertion that he had ordered gay escorts in London and had frequently looked at websites for gay massage parlors and escort agencies.
