Two Bnei Brak residents nabbed at airport upon landing from Brazil with 10.5 kilogram of cocaine, apparently commissioned by Kfar Chabad man.
Tel Aviv District Police have arrested three ultra-Orthodox men suspected of smuggling over $100,000,000 worth of cocaine.
One of the suspects, a resident of Kfar Chabad, is suspected of orchestrating the deal. The two messengers, residents of Bnei Brak, were arrested at the Ben Gurion Airport late Wednesday after authorities found 10 and a half kilogram of cocaine in their suitcases.
Police were tipped off a few weeks ago that the two Bnei Brak residents, both in their 20s, were sent to Brazil to pick up the drugs. The two were arrested by undercover cops immediately upon their return. Neither of the suspects were dressed in ultra-Orthodox garb.
Last week, Negev police arrested two Bedouin and an Egyptian citizen found in possession of 72 kilograms of heroin.
