In Thursday, Egyptian police seized 41 brand new cars near its border with Gaza that were to be smuggled into the Gaza Strip through tunnels.

The tunnels between the Gaza Strip and Egypt were targeted by Israeli air strikes and Egyptian efforts to flood them with water and gas.

Israel and Egypt close their borders with the besieged Gaza. Gazans use tunnels to smuggle life necessities of food and goods into the blockaded Gaza Strip since 2006.
